The first encounter I had with Michael was calling him for singing lessons for my then 6 year old daughter. He was pretty blunt and in a nutshell said he'd listen to her but had low expectations. Well, my now 10 year old daughter is still a pupil at the singing academy and continues to love her singing thanks to the amazing tutoring she has received. He's been an absolute inspiration to her and she wouldn't be where she is today without his guidance. His larger than life character and his cheeky comments will be sadly missed by both Hattie and I.
