Mike had so many great qualities and we're so grateful for his kindness, perseverance, generosity and patience with us all. He also had that very rare ability to get on the same wavelength with everyone he was in contact with. Chameleon-like, he could tune in effortlessly to our feelings and characteristics, yet somehow never compromise his own highly individual and charismatic personality. It had the effect of making us feel we were with a kindred spirit and it enabled us to relax and open up - which is the very essence of learning how to sing.
