Although Michael may have started off as a teacher to me. I am proud to say he became a very good friend. We could have easily talked the whole lesson away without singing a note. That is until he'd say "are you going to sing or what." 

Michael over the last 6+ years shaped me into the singer I am today. His wisdom and friendly teachings pushed me to new heights every lesson. Heights I had no idea I could reach. Every time I thought I'd reached the top of what I was capable of, he would hand me the key to unlock more of my voice.

It's truly devastating to have to write a goodbye to Michael. However, every time I sing and perform I want to dedicate them to his memory. 

I'll never forget what you did for me Michael.
